Africans Charge Genocide Winter Encampment Tour Kicks Off

encampmentInPDUM is touring four cities speaking at the hearings being held by the United Nations Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent.

The Uhuru Movement will testify at the UN hearings in these cities about InPDUM’s petition “Africans Charge Genocide,” that charges the U.S. government with genocide against African people in the U.S. and calls for reparations for our enslavement, slaughter and terror in the past and for our conditions where our children are gunned down and imprisoned today!

InPDUM will also hold a vigil with tents in the African communities of each city where the hearlngs are being held. Every day InPDUM will hold outreach, political education sessions, rallies and marches to publicize the demand for reparations for genocide.

Jackson, MS: Saturday Jan. 23, Lumumba Center, 939 W. Capitol St, Jackson 39203, 9am – 7pm, (InPDUM speaking at 1 pm) The InPDUM tents and encampment will be in the parking lot of the Lumumba Center. Call: 530-936-7432 for more information.

Chicago: Sunday and Monday, Jan. 24 & 25: Chicago State University, Library Auditorium, 9501 S. King Drive, Chicago, Sunday 5-9 pm; Monday: 10:30-12:30 pm
InPDUM will speak, Sunday at 5 pm and Monday at 10:30 am.
Encampment will be on the campus

New York City: Tuesday, Jan. 26 (TBA)

Washington DC: Weds., Jan. 27, Union Temple Baptist Church, 1225 W Street SE. Hearing will be 6:30-8:30 pm.
Encampment will be Jan 27-29
