End the Attacks on Free Speech and Political Association in York, PA

Local Organizer attacked by police for Demonstration of Free Speech

In the early hours of Sunday, March 29th, one of the local organizers of the York branch of the International Peoples Democratic Uhuru Movment, Shamari Simba, was attacked by both local cops and a neo-colonial arm of the State in the form of the Guardian Angels. For months now, InPDUM has been engaged in a campaign in York to Free Comrade Ajamu Bandele. In the last week, Comrades Iyapo Ngina-Bandele and Comrade Shamari Simba have been the on-the-ground organizers along with other forces to wage a relentless information campaign.

This campaign was set to expose the outright attacks on the African community's rights to Free Speech and political association. These attacks have come in the shape of first, the kidnapping arrest of InPDUM-York's local President, Comrade Ajamu Bandele who was exposing the culture of corruption in the City of York; followed by, regular harrassment and intimidation over the last week and this morning's attack made by York City Police.

We recognize that this tendency to political intimidation is evidence of the justness of our campaign and the desperation of the State. The State has no case!!!!! Therefore, they must result to scare tactics and police terror to attempt to keep the details of our mission silenced.

We are calling on all freedom and justice loving people to demand an end to the attacks on free speech and HANDS OFF THE INPDUM ORGANIZERS!!! We need everyone to send a message that York is under the International microscope.

My name is __________________ (optional) and I am calling from __________________________ (required). I know what is happening in York and I demand the immediate end to the attacks on the organizers of the International Peoples Democratic Uhuru Movement in York, PA. The people have a constitutional right to free speech and political association, even if it means exposing the criminal and corrupt nature of York City officials and Police. I also demand the immediate release and dropping of all the bogus charges against Orlando Gibson, as his arrest represents an outright attack on Free Speech and Political Association. HANDS OFF YORK INPDUM!!!!!!!!!!
